This course is designed to emphasize the importance of the formulation and execution of competitive strategies in the face of changing business environments that are increasingly turbulent due to technological changes and globalization. Companies must be able to design their business models in an effort to create, capture, and share their value. The companies must be able to determine opportunities and threats from any changes in their business environment and be able to develop their capabilities and competencies in dealing with environmental dynamics. In the face of turbulence in the business environment, companies must be agile and adaptive to be able to continuously improve and maintain their competitive advantage. The companies must be able to obtain new sources of competitive advantage through entrepreneurial process. To be able to sustain its competitive advantage, companies must be able to think and act ethically in their business activities.
