This course explores the relationship between theory and architecture. We will introduce the students to ideas, theory, and how an architect responds to philosophical problems, discourse, and different viewpoints in architecture. We will also explore how theory can influence an architect’s work. Theory is often used as a foundation in critical thinking, design, and critics. Architecture cannot stand on its own. It is connected to various disciplines, thus there are a lot of different ways to approach architecture. And for that reason, this course is designed based on themes that are often used to analyze an architecture work. It provides the students with an expanded framework for understanding and interpreting architecture work.
