Course Overview:
Database System course introduce the concept and terms in database, database model, entity relational database, introduction to SQL and others. Students can learn several types of database and how to illustrate the database with its entity. It is expected that through this course, students are able to design the database system by using SQL.Learning Outcomes:
- Understand basic concept, advantages and disadvantages of database
- Understand model of database and components related to database
- Learn relational database model
- Using SQL command to manipulate data in database
- Understand entity relationship model
